Session Coordinator

Alexander Melinte

Alexander is a high school student enrolled in a STEM-focused program, with a strong passion for robotics and community engagement. He first began working with seniors through LEGO robotics when his school’s robotics team became involved in this initiative.

Inspired by the program’s success and popularity, Alexander has continued to expand its reach by partnering with leading senior centres and independently organizing interactive workshops. Through these sessions, he aims to foster creativity, learning, and meaningful social connections—bringing seniors and their families together through engaging, hands-on experiences.

Adrian Melinte

Adrian Melinte is a high school student enrolled in a STEM-focused program who is passionate about creating meaningful and engaging experiences for seniors. As the lead presenter for the LEGO robotics workshops, he plays a central role in guiding participants through each session, offering clear, step-by-step instruction as they build and program their own LEGO robots.

Adrian especially values the positive impact these workshops have and he is also committed to involving more volunteers to further enrich each session and enhance the overall experience. Adrian looks forward to continuing and expanding the initiative, bringing these meaningful opportunities to even more senior communities.
